Note: in keeping with the discretion we extend to our clients, this page does not name individual members or managers, and our EIN is not published; both are available to regulators and counterparties on legitimate request. Everything else reflects how this website and its contact form are actually built.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only where you provide it to us, or as an unavoidable by-product of operating a website. Specifically:

Contact form

When you use the contact form on our Contact page, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if given), the countries you mention, your message, your preferred language, and the timestamp of submission. This is sent to our form-handling provider and to our email inbox so that we can respond to you.

Email

If you contact us directly by email, we hold the content of that correspondence and your email address for as long as needed to respond and, if an engagement follows, as part of the engagement record.

Cookie / consent choice

We store your cookie preference (accepted or rejected, and which categories) in your browser's local storage. See Cookies and local storage and our full Cookie Policy.

Server and hosting logs

Our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data for every visit — such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and date/time of access — for the operation and security of the website. We do not access these logs for marketing purposes, and we have not installed any third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

  • Responding to your enquiry — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(a) (the consent you give via the checkbox on the contact form).
  • Delivering a client engagement — Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of the engagement letter you sign with us) and, for succession, tax-coordination or similar matters, Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in coordinating your advisors, always under the confidentiality terms of your engagement).
  • Operating and securing the website — Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in keeping the site functional, secure, and free of abuse).
  • Remembering your cookie choice — this storage is strictly necessary within the meaning of the ePrivacy rules and does not require separate consent; everything beyond it does.

4. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies or local storage before you interact with the cookie banner, other than what is strictly necessary to run it. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not currently run any analytics. Full detail, including what a future optional analytics category would and would not do, is in our Cookie Policy. You can review or change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer of every page.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry data submitted through the contact form is kept only for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on the conversation, and is deleted or anonymised if no engagement follows within a reasonable period, unless you ask us to keep it longer or the law requires otherwise.

Where an engagement proceeds, data is retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards only as long as required by applicable professional, tax, or record-keeping obligations, or as agreed in your engagement letter — after which it is deleted or returned as you direct, consistent with the confidentiality terms described in our Terms of Use.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. Data may be processed by:

  • Our website hosting and form-handling providers, strictly to operate this site and deliver enquiries to us.
  • Your own advisors and ours (lawyers, tax advisors, accountants) — only with your explicit authorisation and only to the extent necessary, as described in How We Work.
  • Professional advisors or authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.

7. International transfers

Because our work and our hosting infrastructure span multiple countries, personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under GDPR (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) with the providers concerned.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including transport encryption (HTTPS) for this website and access limited to those who need it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request erasure of your data, where applicable;
  • Request restriction of, or object to, our processing;
  • Request portability of data you have provided to us;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

10. Children's data

This website is directed at adults considering or undergoing a family relocation. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site. Where a client engagement involves information about a family's children (for example, for school-placement planning), that information is handled under the confidentiality terms of the engagement letter, not through this website.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here; we encourage you to review this page periodically.
